The Australian international School of Bangkok (AISB) is a privately owned education facility located in Sukhumvit Soi 20, Bangkok,Thailand. The school was established in 2003 to cater for children aged 18 months to 7 years. It is developing as both an early childhood centre and full primary school in the busy Sukhumvit areea.

 

The Sukhumvit campus provides education for students in Nursery, Kindergarten and Primary years one and two. Our students are drawn from 15 different nationalities.

 

The Sukhumvit campus will develop as a primary school in gradual stages with year 3 being introduced in 2011, and years 4,5and 6 being developed in subsequent years.

Located in one of the major cities of Asia, our school is set among the high rise apartments and residential area of the bustling Sukhumvit district of Bangkok. The school is populated by staff, students and families from many different parts of the world. Regardless of geographic location, equipment and the material things which go to make up a school, it is the people that are a school's most valuable asset.


AISB is no exception. The strength of our school comes from the sense of purpose that is generated by all of our staff working together in a common cause. That common cause is to provide the best possible start in education for our students so that they are able to move through the following stages of their education as confident, happy learners. The caring and joyous learning atmosphere at AISB comes from the work of dedicated, highly professional native English speaking teachers, supported by a caring team of Teacher Assistants, nannies, administration and ancillary staff.


We believe strongly that the educational program of AISB provides our students with a strong start to their formal education and their experience at AISB enables them to successfully transition to further stages in their education whether here in Thailand or other parts of the world.
